Autonome SEL Program – Sample Lessons
Autonome is a transformative program that lays the essential foundation for nurturing and advancing social-emotional competencies in students. Each lesson is meticulously crafted to empower students with valuable life skills, equipping them to thrive in today’s complex world.
This is a trial account with 2 lessons. Lesson 4 is from the skill-building foundational module and Lesson 12 is from the success-building module. The complete curriculum contains 22 lessons, over 120 topics, surveys, supplementary quotes, and other materials.

To make the most of Autonome, we recommend that facilitators take the following steps before each lesson:
- Prepare with Lesson Overview: Utilize the lesson overview document available in the materials section of each lesson for a preview of the upcoming lesson’s objectives, SEL-aligned competencies, and discussion prompts.
- Familiarize with Discussion Prompts: Take time to become acquainted with the discussion prompts for the lesson. This preparation will help facilitate meaningful and engaging conversations with students.
- Print Necessary Materials: Ensure that any required materials, such as corresponding lesson journal prompts and worksheets, are printed and readily available for the lesson.
